We will gather train enthusiasts at Arendalsuka!
Are you going to Arendalsuka? Join Norske tog's event about night trains in Europe and future train services!
How can we get more people to choose trains as a means of transportation? What can we learn from night train services in Europe? And what should future train services in Norway look like? These are some of the questions that will be discussed at Norske tog's event during Arendalsuka.
The event will take place on Wednesday, August 14 at 16:30 - 17:30, in Torvgaten 5.
During the event, we will get an exciting presentation from Kurt Bauer from the Austrian train company ÖBB, which is at the forefront of developing night train services in Europe. He will share insights into how they work and what plans they have for the future.
There will also be a panel discussion with Kurt Bauer and the CEOs of Vy, SJ AB and Go-Ahead. They will share their reflections on how we can make train services in Norway more attractive, which night train services we should focus on, and how we can get more people to choose trains to Europe.
In addition, you will meet a true train enthusiast: Jonas Ali Ghanizadeh, who recently took the train all the way from Trondheim to Gambia. He will share photos and exciting travel stories from this arduous journey.
This event is perfect for both the dedicated train enthusiast and for those who want to learn more about trains. We hope to see you there!
